Gitlinks requested our design services and later on was acquired by Infor, a multibillion-dollar enterprise software provider and strategic business partner for more than 90,000 organizations worldwide.
GitLinks is a SaaS open-source risk-management platform that reached out to us in order to bring both their website and web application to the next level. Due to the complex and data-heavy nature of their business, they needed to simplify the visual communication and create a strong brand around their core services.
As with any redesign and UI/UX project, Gitlink's online experience had it's own niche-related difficulties that we had to overcome. The core issues were all related to the complexity and the need to simplify and organize the visual informations in a way that would be easy to understand for the average user of the website (even ones with no prior knowledge in this field), and subsequently create a web app experience which would be easy to use and fulfil the client's goals.
After a close analysis of the competitors in the field and learning more about the business and niche from talking with the founders, we decided to create a plan of action that would bring us to a final redesign of both the website and the web app in aproximately 1.5-2 months. We were all happy with the end result and later on the company had great success and was acquired by a multibillion-dollar enterprise software.
