ZoidPay's Crypto Website Redesign

In this case study we will show the strategy around ZoidPay's website redesign and how we decided to structure this design project from scratch.

ZoidPay: Shop Anything from Anywhere with Crypto

ZoidPay is a key player in the crypto payment space, with a global presence and currently experiencing significant business growth. However, since it's MVP stage the company never focused heavily on design and branding, and they reached out to us at the right time to level up the business in these areas.

The Problem

ZoidPay approached us with an existing version of their website that served as a base, but we clearly identified a series of problems that we aimed to solve with the new design solutions. The primary one was the information architecture, since the website didn't communicate effectively due to too much text and visuals which didn't aid the end user in understanding the core messages, some of which were quite elaborate and complex due to the nature of their niche. On top of that, ZoidPay did not have a solid brand identity that reflected their core values and mission.

The Challenge

Due to the nature of the crypto space, we faced a series of challenges when it comes to identifying the core content that would allow us to improve the current web solution and on how to best communicate and illustrate these concepts. The way that we overcome these challenges was to create a bridge of communication and refer to some useful UX exercises that would eventually help us to create a rockk-solid structure for the site and the brand itself.

The Solution

After identifying the new content structure for the website, we went on redesigning the website page by page, together with a new logo and crypto coin icon, as well as creating a brand new chrome extension design that would reflect the new visual identity of ZoidPay.

We were all very happy with the end result and when launched it was very well received from the community. On top of that we saw positive improvements on the website and overall the project was considered a success.

We also redesigned the logo, together with the ZPAY icon (which was later on integrated as part of the logo for branding consistency).
